CABLE CONVENTION COMMITTEE:
The committee is responsible for planning and organizing the annual PCTA Convention which aims to
strengthen the cable and telecommunications industry by bringing like-minded people together to
deepen connections.

COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE:
The committee is responsible for developing, updating, and monitoring PCTA’s website, social
networking accounts, and discussion forums, as well as recommending new ways and means to
communicate with its members, and provide information through alternative media.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY COMMITTEE:
The committee is responsible for the formulation, recommendation, and implementation of strategies
and activities that promote a culture that emphasizes communal unity, work, volunteerism, and
cooperation for the benefit of PCTA members.

EXTERNAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE:
The committee is tasked with building, fostering, and maintaining strategic relationships with legislative
bodies, government agencies, regulators, and private entities that are stakeholders in the cable industry,
and at the same time, identifying opportunities to improve PCTA’s public image.
It is also responsible for protecting and promoting the interest of the cable TV industry, and to
undertake necessary measures to do so, such as, initiating legislative measures and lobbying with
concerned agencies. It also represents PCTA in meetings and forums organized by government agencies
and private organizations.

INTERNAL AFFAIRS/MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE:
The committee is responsible for developing strategies to increase membership and encourage
participation to further support PCTA initiatives, creating opportunities for membership development
and growth, and more importantly, introducing initiatives that improve and add value to membership.

TECHNICAL INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE:
The committee is responsible for increasing the members’ technological awareness and mindfulness,
developing and enhancing the technical proficiency and aptitude of the people working in the cable
industry thru seminars, webinars, workshops and conferences, and evaluating new technologies that
may impact the cable business.
