Ahead of the formal opening of the Tech Show, members of the Philippine Cable and Telecommunications Association (PCTA), along with sponsors and industry partners, gathered for a friendly golf tournament held at the Intramuros Golf Course on March 20, 2026. The Philippine Tech Show officially opened with an energetic and well-attended ceremony hosted by renowned broadcaster Migs Bustos. The opening program was led by PCTA President Jon Arayata together with the PCTA Board of Directors, setting the tone for three days of innovation, collaboration, and industry advancement. Adding significance to the event were the inspiring messages delivered by Hon. Renato “Aboy” Paraiso, Executive Director of the DICT Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), and Hon. Alvin Bernard N. Blanco, Deputy Commissioner of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
